I should have gotten married before I did.  But I kept puttin’ it off, and finally we decided it was time.  And we went from Althea’s house across the road to the minister's, he performed the marriage, and his wife was the only person there.  We came back to Althea’s house, her brother threw some rice at us as we come in the door.

Marriage is quite an undertaking.  Scares you a little… so finally I got brave enough to take it on.

I don’t know really how to explain our marriage.  I guess being constantly with each other…  Althea took care of the house.  Cooked my meals.  Now, I have to do it for her.
